A refined and beautifully preserved set of twelve mid-19th century French Paris porcelain plates, dating to circa 1850. Each plate is delicately hand-painted in colored enamels with fruit motifs, rendered with fine shading and naturalistic detail, and framed by an elegant cobalt blue border richly decorated with gilded scrollwork and floral reserves.

These plates are unmarked, consistent with much Paris porcelain of the period, which was often produced by independent ateliers supplying luxury wares to the Parisian market rather than stamped factories. The quality of the porcelain body, the depth of the cobalt ground, and the generous hand-applied gilding are all hallmarks of high-end Paris porcelain from the mid-19th century.

Measuring approximately 8.5 inches in diameter, these plates are ideal for display, wall arrangements, or refined cabinet presentation, though they remain perfectly suited for occasional table use with appropriate care.

A timeless set that blends romantic French artistry with classical elegance—equally at home in a formal dining room, an English-style cupboard, or layered into a curated wall of antique ceramics.
