An exquisite pair of hand-painted Imari porcelain plates featuring a scalloped edge and classic ovoid form. The central floral medallion is framed by alternating reserves of phoenixes, chrysanthemums, and peonies in vivid shades of cobalt blue, iron red, and gold — a hallmark of Meiji period Imari ware.
The larger plate leans into a softer blue palette, while the smaller presents deeper contrast, making this duo visually dynamic whether displayed or used for elegant entertaining.
