A decorative 19th century Italian Venetian punched metal hanging lantern with an ornate urn-form silhouette, pierced metalwork, and a beautifully aged gilt patina. The lantern’s sculptural form and perforated detailing create a warm, atmospheric glow, making it a striking piece of antique Venetian lighting.
The design reflects the romantic character associated with Venetian interiors, with a shaped body, decorative metal panels, and an elegant suspended form. Its scale makes it well suited for an entry, hallway, powder room, vestibule, covered interior passage, or layered into a collected antique interior.
This piece is especially appealing for designers seeking antique lighting with texture, patina, and old-world presence without feeling overly formal.
