A striking Meiji period Imari plate (circa 1868–1912) featuring a delicately lobed, lotus-shaped rim and a vibrant hand-painted design. The composition is arranged around a central circular motif in rich cobalt blue, bordered by swirling red accents. Radiating outward are three elegantly painted panels of blooming anemones, alternating with geometric diaper patterns in rust red and white.

The palette—typical of Imari ware—includes iron red, deep blue, and verdant greens, with intricate detail and light brushwork that speak to the fine craftsmanship of the era. A harmonious blend of floral beauty and decorative geometry.
