This richly decorated Spode ironstone tureen dates to the 1840s and features the iconic Indian Tree pattern, hand-painted in vibrant enamels over transfer. Bright florals, scrolling vines, and whimsical butterflies adorn the body, while the lid boasts a sculptural gilt acorn finial — a charming and classic Spode detail.
The tureen’s generous proportions and notched lid (for a ladle, not included) make it both functional and decorative. Beautifully balanced handles and footed base complete this fine example of early Victorian tableware.
