Monumental early 19th Century carved Limewood, Gesso & Polychrome decorated Winged Angel. Circa 1830

Sculpted angel, it must have been part of a large composition, probably an altarpiece. Polychrome carved and gilded wood ... gorgeous red floral head wreath.  It is on a wall bracket (for sale separately) and must be seated.
