Lori Smither's is always on the hunt for new and exciting products to supplement our customer's experience while buying furniture, fine art, and other antiques. When she ran into Bella Cucina, she knew it was going to be showcased in The White Barn. She brought it in for the Fall 2022 show and it flew off the shelves. "I would say I couldn't believe it, but I knew this was a real 'ehem, golden ticket' if you will". We couldn't agree more, so we want to tell you a little bit about the history of Bella Cucina and oh yeah, it made Oprah's Faves!
In the early nineties, Alisa Barry opened a café in Atlanta to share her passion for cooking and eating as an artful ritual. Inspired by her culinary training in California and sabbaticals in the hill towns of Italy, she created a simple menu made with locally sourced ingredients. When her loyal customers kept asking to take home her artful offerings, an artisan food business was born. Bella Cucina Artful Food is an all natural, artisan product line available in lifestyle gift and specialty food stores around the world.
Bella Cucina believes beauty extends beyond the table and into the home. In addition to our signature small batch culinary creations, we curate collections for everyday artful living. From farm tables to breadboards, vintage silverware, and hand-painted vintage Japanese Sake vases, we search the globe for objects of affection and collaborate with other like-minded artisans to create beautiful essentials for kitchen and home.
