These antique iron fence panels from the UK, circa 1900, could have significant historical and aesthetic value, depending on their condition and design. This particular set has four panels and the dimensions when put together are 70.25" x 70.5" x 25”H.

The panel may have been used as a decorative fence panel to enclose gardens or to separate different sections of a garden. Decorative iron fencing was popular during the Victorian era and was often used to create ornate garden designs.  The panel could have been used for estate fencing, which was used to mark the boundary of large estates or parks. Estate fencing was typically more substantial and taller than garden fencing and was often used to keep livestock in or out. Iron fence panels were also commonly used in cemeteries during the 19th century to surround family plots or to enclose the entire cemetery.  Fence panels were also used to enclose public spaces such as parks, public gardens, and public buildings. These fences were often designed to be decorative and to complement the surrounding architecture.
